With the passage of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, employers were required to implement two new federal paid leave programs. However, employers continue to have many questions on the law, including which businesses are exempt and which circumstances are covered under the new Emergency Paid Leave and Extended Family and Medical Leave Act. GMG will host a webinar on May 7 at 10am where our expert presenter from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage & Hour Division will discuss employer’s obligations under the law and answer your questions.
In addition, we’ll also be joined by a presenter with the Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry who will provide an update on key employer issues from labor relations during a layoff to OSHA standards.
