In fact, the Legislature has launched a ‘“Be Heard on Cannabis’ Community Conversation” tour that will be coming to Saint Peter the evening of November 20. It will be critical that the voice of employers is heard in this process – particularly around the sort of workplace regulations that would be necessary to include in any legalization scenario to ensure safe and productive workplaces. Vote in the August 14 Primary Election

Vote-2018-660x382Minnesotans’ opportunity to shape the 2019 political landscape begins in earnest with the primary election on August 14. At this election, voters will be asked to winnow down the field of candidates in a number of races for federal, state, and local office and determine which candidates will proceed to the November 6 General Election.

Elections are one of the most important and effective ways citizens can make their voices heard. Taxes & Transportation Moving Through Legislature

FromTheDomeA big week winds up at the Legislature as all omnibus bills must pass out of committees today. Next week, the House and Senate will be busy passing all the budget and tax bills by their Easter/Passover break starting April 9th. Then it’s off to conference committees and negotiations with Governor Dayton when they get back on April 17th.
