More Mankato Website: An Immersive Visual Experience

More Mankato LogoOver the past several months Greater Mankato Growth, Inc. has been developing a virtual tour website that aims to showcase, for potential residents and tourists, the unique amenities and quality of life we enjoy here.

The More Mankato website (working project title: “Kato X”), launched today through support and partnership with Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Nidec (Kato Engineering), Mankato Clinic, ISG, and Minnesota State University, Mankato.

More Mankato offers 360 videos, aerial imagery, and interactive content that gives a sample of 16 different activities such as Shopping, Entertainment, and Art.  There are over 30 interactive virtual tour scenes to explore, 16 ambassador videos shot with a 360 camera, and beautiful aerial shots of some of the great events our community has to offer like RibFest and Fun Days.
